چکیده
A Magyar Nemzeti Múzeum Régészeti és Örökségvédelmi Igazgatósága 2018 tavaszán kezdte meg az M30-as autópálya építéséhez kapcsolódó megelőző régészeti feltárásait. Szalaszend–Nagy- Kis¬hegy nevű lelőhely egy bronzkori földvártól délre fekvő területen került elő, ahol a 10. századi anyagot csupán néhány temetkezés képviselte, mégis igen fontos embertani információt hordozó leletegyüttest rejtett magában. Embertani szempontból legjelentősebb sír SNR 407. számú férfié volt, akinek maradványai sajátos módon engedtek betekintést népesség életmódjába. Az itt meg¬figyelt fogzománc-elváltozások olyan foglalkozáshoz tevékenységhez köthetők, amelyhez mind¬két kézre szükség van, szilárd, kemény tárgyat fogak között kellett tartani, esetleg mozgatni.
